My friend Nicole is here, and it's been a lovely visit...I took her
around to our favorite spots here in Holland
(lemonjello's is under
reconstruction so it threw a new kind of vibe, but
hey the drinks were
still good.). Then came home to our house and began
entertaining each
other with stupid mime tricks and talking of good
food combination.
Pizza is not good food combination by the way, and
we ate some of that
at Skiles yesterday. She has this chart that we
looked it up on(proteins are not to be mixed with acidic fruits
such as tomatoes(which
we decided that cooking the tomatoes must change
their chemistry
therefore making it less offensive to combine the
two), nor are you to
mix starches (the crust) with fruits or proteins).
The pizza was still
enjoyable. As was the lovely lentil and cilantro
stew my mom made for
dinner...good indeed.

I like having friends in general, but ones that go
to college are extra
nice for interesting conversation :p. I like having
a friend who happens
to be a mime as well. Too bad she can't stay longer.
Too bad I'm leaving
before she is...

Also I got a pen in the mail yesterday with my
business name on
it...made me excited, but then I got to feeling
guilty for not having
sewed a thing this whole three weeks past. So much
for building my
inventory...it'll happen, I promise. Then you all
can be impressed with
me and whoever I drag into helping me. So there. I'm
going to go write
in my real journal with that pen.
